Ramandeep Kaur, Senior Research Associate at CSD with over 10 years of experience in research, evaluation, and data analysis. Her expertise is in primary surveys, impact assessments, and policy research, with a focus on education, digital inclusion, and local governance. She has worked with esteemed institutions like the United Nations Global Compact Network India and the Indian Institute of Public Administration.
She has been Co-PI to several Impact Assessment studies and has been part of research team for several research studies funded by Ministries and leading agencies such as UNDP, Tata Trusts, CSC e-Governance, KfW, Brookings Institution, and ICSSR. These include impact assessment of flagship initiatives like the National Digital Literacy Mission, Stree Swabhiman Initiative, e-Swavlambika, Investor Awareness Programme, Legal Literacy Programme, and Access to Justice Initiatives. Her recent studies include “Equitable Education for a Viksit Bharat”, examining school dropout and exclusion among vulnerable communities, “Reviving Government Schools: Case Studies of Best Practices”, “Reach and Role of Private Schools in India”, and “Study on the Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on Children in four states in India”.
With a strong academic background in Human Resource Management (MBA, First Division) from Bharati Vidyapeeth University) and technical proficiency in Excel and SPSS, she is committed to evidence-based research and social equity. She has designed and managed primary surveys across multiple Indian states, trained field teams, and worked on evidence-based recommendations for policy and program improvements.
