Anamika Priyadarshani holds her Masters in International Development from Cornell University and a doctorate from the Department of Global Gender Studies, State University of New York at Buffalo. An Assistant Professor in CSD, she is associated with home-based workers’ international network, Home Workers Worldwide, and has been working to underscore these workers’ issues since 2001. Her Masters thesis was also on women silk spinners, a group of home-based workers, located in Bhagalpur. Dr Priyadarshani has about four years experience of teaching undergraduate students of SUNY Buffalo and the Masters students of the Centre for Development Studies, Central University of Bihar.
