Mr Gitesh Sinha has done his Masters in Computer Applications in which he pursued a specialisation in databases. With his in-depth grasp of data analysis of various agricultural and rural data sets, he has worked as a Research Associate (Database) at the International Livestock Research Institute for various projects sponsored by national and international organisations like the World Bank, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the TATA Trust and the Gates Foundation. He has also worked with the Rural Development Institute, the National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research and Institute for Human Development for different projects. His area of focus includes the analysis of various agricultural activities like livestock inventory, dairy industries, food safety and market prices.

- ICSSR Sponsored study on Equitable Education for a Viksit Bharat;
- Evaluation of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme for the implementation of the Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, and Working of National Helpline against Atrocities on the Members of SCs and STs;
- SGP Small Grants Program, in collaboration with TERI, GEF, UNDP, the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and Cognizant Technologies;
- Land Governance in North-East States: Status and Impact of Policy Reforms and Regional Initiatives on Customary and Indigenous Laws (VI-th Schedule Areas): Assam;
- ICSSR Project on Water Saving Irrigation Technology Adoption;
