Mr Gitesh Sinha has done his Masters in Computer Applications in which he pursued a specialisation in databases. With his in-depth grasp of data analysis of various agricultural and rural data sets, he has worked as a Research Associate (Database) at the International Livestock Research Institute for various projects sponsored by national and international organisations like the World Bank, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the TATA Trust and the Gates Foundation. He has also worked with the Rural Development Institute, the National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research and Institute for Human Development for different projects. His area of focus includes the analysis of various agricultural activities like livestock inventory, dairy industries, food safety and market prices.
