Social Development Forum
CSD initiated a fortnightly forum on social development praxis in November 2007 to discuss contemporary social, political and economic issues especially from the stand point of the marginalised. This is an open platform where people from different walks of life including academics, activists, policy makers come together to appreciate current development paradigms and discuss alternatives. In more than one year of its existence, the Social Development Forum has been engaged with a range of issues such as displacement, communalism, education, health, economic crisis, development planning, terrorism, religion and science besides issues related to women, minorities and adivasis.
